具体的にどう機能するかを明確にしておきます。旅行者の多くはこれと逆に思い込みがちだからです。当院が保険会社に直接請求することはありません。当院が患者様に代わって保険会社に連絡するという工程は一切ありません。往診医が帰る前に、カード、銀行振込、または現金で診察料をお支払いいただき、その時点で必要な書類はすでにすべて手元にそろっています。そこから先、保険会社への請求とその後のやり取りはご自身で行っていただく形になりますが、書類はその手続きができるだけ早く進むよう作成されています。
本サービスは生命に関わらない急性期疾患に対応しています。激しい胸痛、重度の呼吸困難、大怪我などの緊急時は、直ちに115に連絡するか、ダナン市内の大規模総合病院の救急外来へ移動してください。
ホイアンの2つの請求事例：はじめから終わりまで
実際に起きた出来事の流れがあると、書類の意味はずっと分かりやすくなります。当院のホイアンチームが最もよく対応する2つの状況について、おおよその流れをご紹介します。
アンバンのホームステイでの食中毒。あるゲストが、前夜に街で食べたシーフードが原因で、腹部の痙攣、嘔吐、軽い発熱とともに午前2時に目を覚ましました。彼女は当院サイトに記載の番号に電話をかけ、ダナンの拠点から医師が派遣され、通常通り30分から1時間以内に到着しました。診察は短時間で終わりました。脱水と微熱があり、病院への搬送が必要な兆候は何もありませんでした。医師はその場で点滴治療を開始し、診療録を書きながら治療を行いました。
医師が帰る前、彼女の手元には3つのものがそろっていました。診察と使用したすべての物品を項目別に記載した領収書、暫定診断とそのICD-10コードを記載した英文の診療報告書、そして両方の書類への署名とクリニックのスタンプです。彼女は玄関先でカード払いをしました。2日後、帰国してから、彼女はAXAのアカウントにログインし、両方の書類の写真を保険証番号とともにアップロードして請求を提出しました。診断コードがすでに報告書に印字されていたため、保険会社の担当チームが処理前に追加で調べる必要のあることは何もありませんでした。
チャーケー(Tra Que)野菜村へ向かう道でのバイク事故。別の旅行者は、野菜村までスクーターをレンタルして走行中、緩い砂利道で転倒し、前腕と膝を強く打ちつけました。骨折はありませんでしたが、擦り傷は深く、ホームステイの救急箱にあるもので自分で処置する気にはなれませんでした。医師が旧市街にある彼のホテルまで訪れ、両方の傷を洗浄・消毒して包帯を巻き、破傷風の接種歴を確認し、怪我の内容だけでなく、どのように起きたかも記載した報告書を作成しました。保険会社は通常、診断だけでなく事故の発生機序についても尋ねるためです。
彼は2日後にダナンから出国するため、医師が帰る前に、帰国先の薬局が自分のかかりつけ医に診てもらう前に包帯を交換する必要が生じた場合に備えて、書面による包帯交換の手順書を依頼しました。彼は現金で支払い、明細付き領収書と報告書を一緒に保管し、帰国後にAllianzへ請求しました。事故が明確に記録されており、除外対象の活動ではなく通常の転倒に該当していたため、追加情報を求められることなく請求が通りました。

旅を続ける前に請求を済ませる
ホイアンは、多くの旅程において終着点というよりも途中の一地点にあたります。当院が診察するゲストの多くは、ここに2〜3泊した後、列車でフエへ、あるいはニンビンへと北上を続けるか、その週のうちにダナンから空路で出発します。このタイミングは請求にとって重要です。というのも、どのレストランで食事をしたか、あるいは実際に発熱が始まったのがいつだったかをまだ覚えているうちに手続きを行うのが、書類を扱ううえで最も簡単だからです。
