ドンホイには公立病院システムと並行して私立クリニックもあり、一般的には病院の全機能を必要としない日常的な診察のような、単純な外来診療を扱っています。どこの私立クリニックでもそうであるように、営業時間、扱っているサービスの範囲、英語対応のレベルはクリニックごとに大きく異なり、特定の問題にどのクリニックが適しているかは事前にはっきりわからないことが多くあります。この不確実性こそが、旅行者や外国人居住者が往診医を好む理由のひとつです——誰が来るのかがはっきりわかり、理解できる言語で、どのクリニックを試すべきか推測する必要がありません。
薬局 — 広く利用でき、軽い症状に適しています
